THE TRANSMISSION GALLERY

NUNEATON (HARTSHILL QUARRY)

Photos by Rob Shufflebotham Page last updated: 2015-05-05

The original version of this page suggested - in the absence of detailed information - that BBC Local Radio was transmitted from an end-fed colinear at the top of the tower.

However, a subsequent review by Editor Martin Brown established that in fact there are three transmit Yagis, each of three elements, two pointing roughly north-west and one pointing roughly south-east.

They weren't noticed in the original photographs but they've been highlighted for this update.
