The mission here was to identify the illusive UHF receive aerial.

One UHF log periodic pointing towards Abergavenny.

Abergavenny, the RBL source, as seem from Crickhowell.

And by the power of the zoom lens, Abergavenny 8.5 km across the valley through the haze.

These transmit panels look remarkably clean, if they are from the original 1977 installation.
