BRIXHAM

Photos by Kris Partridge Page last updated: 2015-09-30

DAB added - September 2015

DAB services at Brixham commenced on 28th August 2015.

Kris reports that there is no DAB satellite receive dish at Brixham. Both DAB services being fed via SHF link from Beacon Hill.

A band III co-linear has been added to the top of this lattice pole for DAB transmit. To the right of the structure can be seen the top of the DAB Tx cabin with GPS receive cones.

From this angle it can be seen that both the horizontal UHF receive log and the
SHF antenna point towards Beacon Hill.

mb21 also understands that the white pole on the left is the aerial used for the RNLI paging system for Brixham Lifeboat Station. It was at the top of the structure before the DAB collinear was added. See the earlier pictures.
