DAB added - April 2016

Lewis visited Tay Bridge on a sunny April day.

BBC National DAB was added at Tay Bridge on 14th September 2010.






Two tiers of band III dipoles on a cantilever extension at the top, for DAB transmit. Mean height 51m.

The wrap around former Channel 5 UHF panels are still in place at the 40m level.


Round to the north side of the tower and just below the top, on the right can be seen a 4 element, slant polarised, band II Yagi, for ILR transmit.


Angus receive aerials. To the left a 4 element, vertically polarised, band II Yagi, for ILR. Two UHF troughs in the middle of the tower and top right of this picture, a UHF log periodic.
