| This very low power (2W) relay is easy to spot from the village but quite difficult to find and get at. Also all the reception aerials I saw were on Huntshaw Cross so that didn't help in finding my way up there. When I arrived there was some work being carried out the site, I don't know what was being added as they had set up a rope hoist system, nor do I know which organisation was carrying out the work as the three vans were unmarked. The relay serves an area screened by a hill and entered service in 1993. |
