28th November 2016, work in preparation to receive the new cylinder



Having successfully lowered the old cylinder, the next step was to remove the old locating plate and replace with one designed to receive the new aerial, which has a lesser girth than the former incumbent.


Above and below: down come the old plates




Above: and up go the new, along no doubt with a bag of nice shiny new bolts.






New plate installed and ready to receive the replacement aerial.
