| West Howe is the site - at a waterworks - which puts out The Fire. It serves Bournemouth on 107.6 MHz from a simple vertically mounted folded dipole aerial installed at the very top of the tower, which can be seen in the close-up. For a station that radiates only 100W, it provides very good local coverage, due to the site being high up on hills overlooking Bournemouth. |
