TRENT VIEW HOUSE

Photos by Martin Brown Page last updated: 2017-08-18

DAB added - August 2017

Since Bev Marks visited, Trent View House it has been re-clad in blue and white panels and aerials for DAB have been added. Ofcom data gives a service date of 25th October 2016 for BBC, Digital One and Humberside DAB.

The view from the car park in front of the building. The east side of the tower block.

Taking a walk along Bridges Road the rooftop aerials come into view. This is the south side of the building. The satellite dish in the middle of the roof for the BBC and Digital One programme feed, can be clearly seen. The transmit aerials are on the right hand end.

Two band III dipoles for DAB transmit. It also seems that a new band II, end fed dipole for Lincs FM, has been added to the top of the DAB aerial pole. The horizontal band II Yagi is pointing southeast towards Belmont and is likely to provide the Lincs FM RBL.
