Sam took these photos of the Brougher Mountain site in early Aug 2010, and as you can see the site's second tower has been extensively modified. Sam comments: All has become clear after a site visit this morning. The second tower has been extended and now carries an 8 tier UHF panel array - this will be the new main aerial. It wasn't live at the time according to two riggers on site and no feeder pull had yet happened. Transmissions were coming from the original tower which must be of lower power and reduced coverage. That tower is now carrying a 4-tier reserve aerial - it will not be decommissioned and will serve as the permanent DTT reserve and for DAB/FM services.
