| Neil writes: I thought it was time to revisit the area. This site is located at the top of my old school playing field. What a change in the last 35 years. The playing field is a large supermarket now, and the old cinema which was in front of the mast is now part of a traffic gyratory system. This now gives excellent vantage to photo the site. |

| Difficult to spot (and to get a good position to photo), the angle of the receive and transmit aerials. the transmit points down the valley towards Brinsley and New Eastwood. Knowing the area, it is possibly difficult to receive a signal from Waltham or Nottingham |
| The kit compound. Looks rather full, but I have no recall of what the site looked like 35 years ago when I was at school as I believe the mast was at the back of a scout hut. |
