Local TV aerial change - September 2018

The 700 MHz band channel changes were implemented at Brierley Hill on the 7th March 2018. On this date the local TV multiplex moved from UHF ch 29 to ch 33 and has gained an additional pair of log periodic transmit aerials.

No change visible from this viewpoint.

Move further round and two new shrouded log periodics come into view.

The two new shrouded log periodics on the left. They are pointing roughly westwards. The crossed logs on the right look unchanged.

The updated Ofcom local TV polar diagram for Brierley Hill. It seems that very little power is radiated
from these west pointing aerials.

The compound. Unusually for a 7 mux site, there are no satellite dishes.
