| The tower at the top Quainton Hill is found after a short but pleasant walk along the North Buckinghamshire Way from the beautiful village of Quainton, north-west of Aylesbury. This tower is located at the Thames Water waterworks. Mix 96 launched on 15th April 1994. |
| The crossed four element band II Yagi aerials provide circular polarised signals on 96.2MHz for the ILR station Mix 96. The aerials can be seen clearly in the close-up shot, right at the top of the mast, and face south-east, providing good directional signals across Aylesbury and beyond. [It looks to me like half of one of the vertical elements was missing at the time these photos were taken - mb] |
