Relocation to the Chapel - December 2018

The Cane Hill UHF TV relay has been relocated from the water tower to the roof of the nearby chapel. The new Tx site went into service on 21st November 2018. At the same time this relay adopted its post 700 MHz clearance channels.


Cane Hill is currently a building site for new housing. Left is water tower, the previous location, right is the chapel, the new location.

The new transmit aerial looks like it is a omni directional co-linear, unlike the array of log periodics on the water tower.


Crystal Palace receive aerial securely attached to the wall.


The old transmit aerials on the water tower were still in place.
