Peter took these pictures of Eitshal shortly after UHF TV transmissions commenced in the summer of 1976. They show a mast with only the UHF transmit cylinder and the twin SHF antennas for the programme feeds. There is a link to a BBC Engineering article about the programme feeds to Eitshal at the foot of this page.

The two, 2.4m SHF antennas receiving the programme feeds from Melvaig at 7GHz. They are at 9m and 24m arranged to give spacial diversity.
