New receive aerial - September 2020

Ahead of 700 MHz band clearance at Mendip the original band V, UHF trough receive aerial was replaced in October 2017.

This panel aerial has replaced the trough. I'm told that these new Sira panels have better front-to back performance than the troughs, as well as being wideband.

The UHF transmit cylinder remains unchanged.

The band III DAB aerials on the right, with a single vertical band II dipole for FM radio.
