THE TRANSMISSION GALLERY

COPT OAK

Photos by Martin Brown Page last updated: 2020-11-28

April 2017

Nothing new to see, but a nice sunny day at Copt Oak.

There are two separate band II aerial systems at Copt Oak. The top two tiers of panels transmit the Independent Regional Radio service on 106.0 MHz. The lower pair transmit Radio Leicester.

Much lower down the tower at the 29m level are the DAB transmit aerials comprised of two tiers of 5 element, band III Yagis, on opposite legs of the structure.
