PROCTOR HEIGHTS
Photos by Jack Richardson | Page last updated: 2021-07-22 |
Procter Heights overlooks a large part of North Yorkshire/Lancashire. Coverage where it's needed is good, in what is quite a hilly area. The Keighley relay, Skipton UHF, Hunter's Stones, Hameldon Hill and Winter Hill were all visible, as well as Pendle Hill, Ingleborough and Rombalds Moor. |
The BT site looks completely empty. |
The reserve Rx yagi pointing towards Harlow Hill can be seen above the white dish near the bottom left hand side. |
These aerials seemed to be pointing eastwards, towards Silsden and Keighley. The beam is very directional. Driving back in the Colne/Burnley direction (i.e. behind the beam), the signal was dying on what felt not too far away from the site. [Ed] Ofcom Tx Parameters has the direction of maximum radiation on a bearing of 30 degrees. |
