DAB added - August 2022

Band III dipoles have been added to the top of the Arqiva tower at Gwaenysgor for the North West Wales local DAB multiplex. Ofcom data gives a service date of 30-Aug-2016.

Two tiers of band III dipoles in front of a screen for DAB transmit.


A slant polarised 4 element band II Yagi transmits FM local radio.


The band II receive aerial has been repaired since Dan Glover visited in 2012. It is pointing at Moel-y-Parc.


Moel-y-Parc is visible from Gwaenysgor. It lies 7.8 miles to the south-southeast.
