| For 700 MHz band clearance on 14-Nov-2018, Arfon has become two separate UHF TV transmitters named Arfon North and Arfon South. Two new antenna systems have been installed replacing the antenna which was installed for DSO in 2009. Arfon South transmit on the same channels used since DSO of 41/44/47 at 2 kW ERP, while a new transmitter Arfon North transmits on channels 29/31/37 at 8 kW ERP. All transmissions remain vertically polarised. Also one of the trough receive aerials has been replaced with a panel as a consequence of the B700 channel changes at Llanddona. |
