| Shoreline FM (now known as Cinque Ports) commenced transmission December 2019 after a year of delays in obtaining a written contact with the listed building and waiting for a lightning system to be installed on and around the church. The antenna height and position was determined by the protection umbrella provided by the lightning system. The antenna was a 3 dB gain 5/8 wave vertical. The studio was on the ground floor with the tx one floor up in the Clock winding room. Station ownership changed in early 2022 and became Cinque Ports at the same time the antenna changed to a J pole, during June 2023 the antenna changed to a quarter wave vertical groundplane. In August 2023 an ERP increase was granted from 150 Watts to 300 Watts but with a 3dB null at 20 degrees, the antenna was changed to a slanted dipole. In September 2023 the complete station moved across the road to a private residence as per David Stanley report . |
