History of services 6-Jun-1950 Third Programme 1546 kHz. Closed Oct-1954. 2-Sep-1972 Radio Sheffield 1034 kHz (1035 kHz from 23-Nov-1978). Closed 27-May-2021. 6-Nov-1993 INR2 (Virgin Radio), 1233 kHz. Closed mid 2018.
