ASHFORD (CHARTER HOUSE)

| Charter House was originally the headquarters of Charter Consolidated (hence the name), a mining company with operations in Zambia. After time as a sales office for P&O Ferries it was largely empty before being converted to apartments, office space and so on. The Charter name has been removed and smaller apartment blocks built around it. These photos were mostly taken from the top of the multi-story car park. |
| To the left of Charter House the Wye Crown is just visible and to the left of that and even harder to see is the Arqiva Wye site. To the right you can see the William Harvey Hospital site used by Radio Ashford. |
