DSO changes & DAB added - May 2010

Wayne Brewer's photos, taken over two days in May 2010, show the new post-DSO configuration. A VP trough remains, but I wonder if it is still in use?

Since DSO things at Rhondda are somewhat simpler. The same channels are used for both the VP and HP aerials. Oh, and the VP troughs have been replaced by panels.

DAB service dates: BBC National 15-Jan-2010; South East Wales 6-Nov-2015.








[Ed] I suspect that the upper single tier of crossed logs are the post DSO transmit aerials with the lower two tier array the analogue Rhondda B Tx array.
