BEN GULLIPEN

Photos by Jack Richardson Page last updated: 2023-11-08

Detailed pictures - September 2023

Came up here on a hot September day, walking up from Callander. Good views from the summit over towards Stirling, the southern Highlands and could just about see the refineries at Grangemouth in the distance.

Ben Gullipen seems to serve an area north of the Campsie Fells, which weakens the signals from Black Hill, as well as parts of the southern Highlands. The signal gets out well. RDS on my car radio has also chosen Ben Gullipen on the A82 around the southern part of Loch Lomond.

The update list called for detailed photos, so here they are.

The broadcast tower is the one on the right.
