The update list called for detailed photos. I came here after visiting Castle Tioram and the Silver Walk, a 4 mile circuit which I highly recommend.
I tucked in the verge at the start of the track which leads to the site. I should've simply followed this track, but it had estate or fishing pool written on a sign, which threw me off. I instead walked straight up the hill, trying to find a way through the trees and gorse.
The transmitter hut and tower are a little way from each other, it's a steep hill and there's not enough room at the top for the hut, which is at the bottom of a steep bank. |
