New transmit and receive aerials - August 2024

Since Peter Bigwood visited Chisbury in 2003, both the transmit and receive aerials have been replaced and the trees have grown considerably. I suspect that the receive aerial was replaced ahead of DSO (Feb 2012). The transmit panels were replaced in November 2017 ahead of 700 MHz band clearance. The B700 channel changes were implemented on 18-Apr-2018.

The new transmit panels. The trademark of RFS can just be made out on the lower left panels. Also of note is that the panels now seem to be 90 degrees apart. In peter's pictures they look to be 120 degrees apart.

Gone are the twin log periodic receive aerials. Replaced with this Sira panel.
