New UHF receive aerial - September 2024

As a consequence of 700 MHz band clearance channel changes at the parent site Carmel, the UHF receive trough at Llanelli has been replaced.




The new UHF receive panel aerial.


Round the other side of the tower we get a better view of the various transmit aerials.




No change to the UHF transmit aerial system. 4 tiers of 90 degree crossed log periodics.


ILR transmit is this single folded band II dipole.


DAB transmit consists of two tiers of cardioid arrays. Ofcom Tx Parameters has these pointing at 160 degrees.
