New transmit aerial - September 2024

The transmit aerial at Erwood was replaced in August 2018 ahead of 700 MHz band clearance. The channel changes were implemented on 17-Jul-2019. Receive has been upgraded from one to two log periodics and the tower now has a satellite telemetry dish.

Erwood on a sunny September afternoon. Half-an-hour earlier when I arrived in the village it was raining heavily.

The 4 tier bowtie transmit aerial has been replaced with the cylinder.

Receive from Llandrindod Wells has been upgraded to twin log periodics.
