New receive aerial - July 2025

A new UHF receive aerial has been added at West Linton as a consequence of 700 MHz clearance at the parent station, Penicuik.

The new receive panel aerial has been added just below the original trough.

The new Rx aerial is almost certainly a Sira UTV-08, which is a vertically polarised antenna.

The original transmit panels remain in use as West Linton has always transmitted in band IV.
