A wee update for the Callander relay. Last photographed by Alexander Sives in 2006 as a simple UHF relay. It now supports the full monty of telecommunications equipment too. DTT equipment appears unchanged.

Access gate and signage.

The path leading towards the site.

Various antennas at the top of the mast.
From left to right
- Mobile Antenna
- DTT Transmit
- 2 Microwave Links (when mapped these clearly link to the 4G site in Callander itself as well as Ben Gullipen)
- Mobile Antenna
- Microwave Link (when mapped this appears to link with a site next to the M80 Services in Stirling, there is line of sight between these sites as well as a corresponding dish)
- Mobile Antenna

Transmission cabins for the UHF relay and 4G equipment.

A typical 1970's style IBA cabin.

Looking up the skirt of the tower

Forest recently removed adjacent to the site.
I wonder if this improves reception as a side effect?

A spare bracket

Relaxing to Smooth 105.2 fm (Black Hill) just outside the relay site.
