Sun 21-Nov-2010: Although the weather at Heathfield wasn't wonderful - generally overcast - the cloud base was high enough to allow mast work, with even the occasional sunny interval.
The helicopter returned to site at 1115 and the riggers ascended the mast. The adaptor was lifted into place at 1155 and preparations made to receive the new main tv tx antenna which, with the upper platform attached, weighed in at 3.25 Tonnes. The load limit for the Norwegian Super Puma is around 3.4 Tonnes which was why the Kamov had originally been preferred, for its greater lifting capacity, so there was a possibilty the platform may have had to be unbolted and lifted separately. In the event the pilot cautiously started lifting before deciding to go ahead. The new main antenna was lowered into place at 1255.
