I came across this small relay because I noticed the TV aerials in the village were pointing in an obvious 'Not Beacon Hill' direction but they were all still on a horizontal polarisation.
This relay for Halwell is still as it was when the plans went in, years ago, to install it permanently on a small 15m pole but this all fell through, so the barn owner told me, and it is still in its original temporary/permanent site.
Halwell entered service in 2002. It was built to deal with a co-channel interference issue from interim DTT. |
