West Kilbride stands high to the east of the town on a hill called Law Hill. The site commands fine views of the Firth of Clyde and across to Aran. Originally an IBA landlord site, TV channels 1 - 3 entered service on 10th December 1976, with Channel 4 from December 1983. DSO was on 11th and 25th May 2011. BBC FM radio was added in June 1994. Ayrshire DAB launched on 26th April 2002.
