| The Crystal Palace transmitter serves the whole of London and parts of the South East with UHF television and VHF FM and digital radio It provides pictures and sound to more people than any other transmitter in the country but even so its coverage area is not as wide as it once was when it broadcast BBC Television to the South-East on VHF channel 1. |
