HAYWARDS HEATH

Photos by David Neale Page last updated: 2023-04-14

November 2005

The Haywards Heath TV relay is located on the roof of Stockwell Court, the biggest and ugliest of all the Buildings in this rather nice Sussex town. The relay consists of a single log periodic antenna that receives its feed from Heathfield and a four tier transmit cardioid.

Haywards Heath entered service in March 1980 to serve about 3500 people. Channel 4 was added on
26-Apr-1985.

There is another "Haywards Heath" site at TQ338229, which radiates Bright 106.4MHz.

This is the view in the direction the transmit antenna faces.
