This site is located on the Outer Hebridean Isle of Harris, in the port of Tarbert. It's where the ferry from Uig on the Isle of Skye docks. It's only a small village, with an excellent cafe where you can pass the time waiting for the next ferry (which sails twice a day). Tarbert (Harris) was originally a BBC landlord site which entered service on 22-Oct-1982 to serve 500 people. Channel 4 was added on 16-Aug-1985.
