November 2005

Pictures of the mast near Portglenone, Ballymena, in Northern Ireland, from which Downtown Radio on 102.3MHz and the new Ballymena station Seven FM on 107MHz are broadcast. Both stations use the single mixed polarisation antenna mounted on the side of the tower which is clearly visible in the picture. The new cabin for Seven FM was not on site when the picture was taken (will take a new one in the near future), but no extra antennas were added (Leased line with ISDN backup is used for the audio link to the site from the studio) to the mast.

Orange are the site owner, with Arqiva as tenants.

Transmit is from the Sira aerial on the right.
