Community radio station Skyline Gold 102.5 serves Hedge End, which is to the east of Southampton. The station originally launched as Skyline Community Radio on 7th January 2006 from a transmitter at Hillsons Road. OFCOM Tx parameters indicate that the transmitter was re-located to Hedge End Golf Centre on 8th May 2009.

The transmit aerial can be seen on top of the lattice pole holding the netting, which protects the adjacent M27 from stray golf balls.
