| I found a reference to Bright FM's site being the water tower at the Princess Royal Hospital - and here it is. By happy coincidence the hospital is on high ground near the centre of town, and the water tower is clear of the surrounding buildings and trees. Bright FM merged with Neighbouring stations in Worthing, Eastbourne and Hastings and was renamed More Radio in 2016. |

| The broadcast antenna is on the stub mast in the centre. GSM panels mounted near the top of the structure have been "disguised" and some of the upper windows have been replaced with GRP to provide further options for antenna installation. |
| The Shively Labs mixed polarisation antenna (on the right) is a reasonably discreet solution for this sort of site. Further research suggests the shrouded yagi (just above parapet on the left) is likely to be an SHF link from the studios in Burgess Hill. |
| The modern hospital is adjacent to the former Brighton County Borough Asylum, which apparently started as the Sussex County Asylum in 1859 and was also known as St Francis Hospital. Parts remained in use until 1995. The water tower dates from 1908 and is Grade II listed. Many of the original buildings remain nearby, now converted to apartments. |
| As the above sign indicates, the hospital is also home to a lower power AM station. I didn't have time to track it down. |
