May 2012

Located at the Village Hall in Torridon, this was an active deflector of Torridon V/P, providing coverage to Annat.

The two antennas were connected via an amplifier - the building possibly helping to provide the necessary isolation between input and output.

The relay did not make it past DSO and is now defunct.

The receive antenna is on the western end of Torridon Hall...

...with transmit at the eastern end

Since the above photos were taken, the village hall has been extended, and the wall the receive antenna was sited on is now an internal aperture! The tx antenna is still in place (although now not in use) and the receive antenna is presumably in the skip.

Old TX antenna, now disused
