September 2016

Band III DAB aerials have been installed on the roof of the BT exchange building in Horsham. These aerials are about 70m away from the Horsham FM Radio transmitting aerial on the roof of the nearby Arts Centre.

The service date for all 3 DAB multiplexes was 28th July 2016. The BBC and Digital One transmitters are ACI fillers as this site is in a built up area. They have an ERP of only 25 W. The Sussex DAB mux has an ERP of
300 W.

This SHF antenna receives all the DAB programme feeds from Midhurst. No satellite receive dish here. The familiar GPS receive aerial cones attached to the side of the transmitter cabin.
