Transmitter install May 2017

Wey Valley Radio is a community station in Alton, Hampshire. The area originally had a small-scale independent station (launched in 1992) which was operated in the spirit of a "community" station, as the current licensing regime didn't exist at the time. However, due to it's commercial license and following a change of shareholders, the original station became a local relay of The Breeze. The new station has been founded by the original management and presenters in order to provide a truly local service for the town.

Thedden Grange sits on a hill overlooking the town and is not directly accessible by public road. While the main house can be seen clearly from the main road, the transmission aerial (an end fed vertical) is almost impossible to make out against the sky line.
