Radio Skye have added a relay transmitter to cover the Sleat peninsular in the south west of the Isle of Skye. The 100W transmitter covers the coast of Skye and the mainland.

The site was originally a Vodafone microwave relay. This photo from 2020 shows the original antennas. The site had been disused for some time.

The new dipole antennas being installed.

The transmitter system with is shared battery backup system. The site is fed by fibre and will be shared with a local ISP.
