January 2026

Originally given Ofcom approval in January 2021 and put into full-time operation from 5th November 2021, this small FM transmitter is home to Chiltern Voice, which operates on 107.4 MHz at 100 watts.

An unusual transmit aerial arrangement here. The two vertical folded band II dipoles form a typical cardioid array, which according to Ofcom Tx Parameters is facing south, while the horizontal four element Yagi faces in the opposite direction - north. Also confirmed by Tx Parameters. Both polarisations radiate with a maximum ERP of 50 Watts.
