Hide historic services

February 2017

As of early 2017 the few television relays not featured in the Transmission Gallery are either difficult to access or just in places where nobody seems to have visited. Happily this was one of the latter, located at the side of the road.

The broadcast antennas are two log periodics, one for receive and one for transmit. The relay appears to serve low-lying areas of the town. Brechin was originally an IBA landlord site which entered service on 21-Feb-1984.

The well-weathered sign reads "BRECHIN 11210"

The site sharers' cabin is somewhat larger than that for the TV relay...

...and the broadcast antennas are somewhat outnumbered.
