| A view from the station showing the houses in the middle of the picture that are the main target for the station. The parent station at Craigkelly is in a 2 o'clock direction in this picture. Reception of Craigkelly is subject to multipath distortion at the houses in question due to the proximity of the high structures at the Grangemouth oil and chemicals complex, hence the reason for building the relay. I have to say that in practice very few of these houses seem to have aerials pointing at the station, most of them use Black Hill or Craigkelly with standard size yagis. |
