Show historic services

Foxhall Heath is one of those fairly rare stations which transmits both MF and VHF services. [Ed] It was the first Tx site to be engineered this way in the UK.

ILR Ipswich (Radio Orwell) launched on the 28th October 1975.

Foxhall Heath was used by the IBA for tests of the C-QUAM AM stereo system, though the format has never been adopted in the UK.
