The Petersfield transmitter is located in the Rams Walk shopping centre and home to a local relay for The Breeze (formerly Delta). The site receives Haslemere on 97.1 MHz and rebroadcasts on 101.8 MHz.

The town of Petersfield is cradled in the South Downs with hills all around so the signals from this low site are naturally contained within the local area.

The yagi receives the signal from Haslemere - the dipole is the transmit antenna. Stephen reports that it's difficult to pick up 97.1 cleanly in Petersfield and so the output of this relay is sometimes rather hissy in stereo.

[Makes you wonder why they didn't use a better rx antenna, then, doesn't it!]

The antennas are attached to Ottakar's - which has since become Waterstone's

The picturesque Market Square nearby.
