Toot Hill is near Southampton, just above the Rownhams service area on the M27. This Southern Water site actually has two towers, obscured by electricity wires.

Mervyn Mugford says: "The location looked quite promising on Google Earth but when I got there it turned out to be at the far end of a Southern Water installation so only long distance shots. I tried going around the back through the woods but the trees grew up close to the fence and there was nowhere to get an uninterrupted view up the mast."

Toot Hill covers the parts of Southampton that Rowridge and Chillerton Down can't reach. The DAB dipoles are at the very top of the larger mast.
