Original photo and December 2013

The first photo from David Neale comes from a few years ago. Martin Watkins returned to the site in December 2013; apart from the removal of the two-element VHF Yagi near the top along with a wand type aerial, and the installation of the usual post-DSO telemtry dish, nothing much has changed.

In analogue days the widely spaced channel allocations for this relay meant that Group E or Wideband receiving aerials were required.

Aveton Gifford was originally an IBA landlord site which entered service on 25-Oct-1985 to serve 400 people.
